I have to disagree with having the spotter behind the RV. If I can't see my spotter, I'm not moving. If I can see the spotter I'm not going to run them over. Body work is cheaper than hospital or funeral bills.

In a past life as a hd mechanic, alot of the advice on here about wheel bearings is bang on! My method was similar, tighten, but use a proper socket or at least a crescent (adjustable) wrench, not slip joint pliers, then back it off, repeat, then once backed off for a second time, tighten the nut until a slight drag happens while spinning the drum. Done. This way the bearing has adequate contact and not too loose. With heat and cooling the adjustment may change too, becoming too loose. Over tightening creates too much friction and heat. Both cause premature wear of the bearing. I was also taught to hand roll grease into the rollers as even grease guns will not always coat every roller well enough. Once properly packed, a grease gun or a bearing buddy, a spring loaded grease pressure cap, is good.

The reason the dealer doesn't want a third party inspector comming through is now they are legally liable to fix the issues brought up, before they can sell the rv.

i full time travel in a 33 foot 1997 motor home. the t.v. 32", [dish tailgater on top], a personal computer using hotspot from verizon, unlimited data. included in the plan is android phone and tablet. tablet gets 30 gigs, phone gets 50Gigs a month. totals 80 Gigs, not enough. so i added 100Gigs to the 80 [an extra small charge for the 100 gigs] for total of 180 Gigs of data per month. about 7 gigs per day. after that, it drops down to 3 g service. 4 G is fine for any streaming download, including t.v. generally not out of cell tower service and there is an app mapping tower locations all over the country.

Just wanna say thanks to the Hanks. We are out in Central Oregon not yet overly hot, but the heat is coming. And today our AC was working fine, we went out for a bit, and when we arrived at our trailer, the AC was no longer working. So of course I checked the usual suspects e.g. fuses, breakers, condenser to no avail. We watched this video and checked the baffle and sure enough we had a "short circut". Simple push and viola we have AC again.

I worked for an RV dealer who dealt mostly with Class As starting at 300k and up. They may look nicer and have more bells and whistles than lower-cost RVs, but they are all built poorly. Most of these RV manufacturers have little or no quality control and then try to weasel out of honoring any Warranties. Many try to delay addressing the problems until the Warranty expires. It doesn't matter if you have a 50k or a 500k RV - the quality is not there! They make everything look new and shiny until it leaves the lot. Then the owner starts finding all the problems they either ignored or tried to hide. Most - if not all - of these RV manufacturers are skimping on material quality and craftsmanship quality. It seems like they are hirng anybody who knows how to use a screw gun. But they are still asking astronomical prices!

Cool Video! Thanks for showcasing this! FYI - I live in this area of Canada (Southern BC) and drive that route several times a year. The southern portion of Highway 1 (in fact most southern routes) were washed out in several areas (including that bridge you crossed between Lytton and Yale) during the flood event of November 2021. It was quite major actually - if you do a google search you'll be surprised by the destruction. Many areas were completely cutoff from help/transportation/services/access for a long time (some for weeks). Another tidbit of info, The BC Fraser Canyon is the hottest spot in all of Canada (in Summer) generally during heat-wave events. In late June 2021 there was a very strong heat wave event that hit southern BC and the town of Lytton hit nearly 50C (49.6 to be exact) as a daytime high (June 28, 2021) - which was just under 122F. That day it was hotter than death valley/palm springs etc. The following day, a large fire swept through Lytton and destroyed about 80-90% of the town.

From my experience transporting Propane from refineries to distribution companies, the price change on propane happens on Tuesdays. Weekend sales get reported on Mondays.Supply and demand. So, as it gets colder, fill your tanks prior to Tuesday and as it gets warmer, fill after Tuesday. Once again, great job on the vid and breakdown
